When moving from one country to another, it can get stressful as you worry about wanting to bring everything but you cant… Well at least I did. Tyler and I had 3 suitcases between us and that didn’t give me enough room to bring everything we wanted. So I had to leave some things behind, and that means my HUGE bottle of Spectro Gel had to stay back in Canada. I figured I would just buy one in Australia… only thing is I haven’t see Spectro Gel anywhere here!!
This is when I just grabbed a face wash that looked like it would actually work and looked all natural. Which is the Thursday Plantation Australia’s Original Tea Tree Foaming Cleanser for Acne.
The Tea Tree Face Wash is a Step 1 Soap-Free Foaming Cleanser. It is said to assist in preventing acne and pimples by gently cleansing the skin to remove build up of excessive oils.
It containing Tea Tree Oil to help control bacteria, and Chamomile extract to soothe the skin.
I’ve been using this for a month now and I still get acne here and there, I’ve realised nothing is going to get rid of my acne forever. But this cleanser says to use with the Step 2 Toner and Step 3 Face Cream for better results.
I like that this cleanser is soap-free, because my skin hasn’t dried out… AND I like that is it a foaming cleaner, it works very well with my clarisonic. But I would have to try Step 2 and Step 3 to really see if it helps with my acne, because so far this face wash by itself isn’t doing anything.
–Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract
–Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil
–Eucalyptus Citriodora Oil
This product is free of:
–Animal Derived Ingredients
So pretty much a lots of words I can’t pronounce and have no idea what they are, but it is said that they are certified organic ingredients.
I don’t mind this face wash and it only cost me just under $12.00. The website for this product doesn’t seem to have a purchase section. When I googled where you guys can buy it, there were a lot of places. If you are interested in purchasing this product check out your local chemist first, if you have no luck, there are a few places you can find online.
I would try another cleanser before I repurchase this one again.
BUT remember that someone with oily skin might have a better reaction to this product compare to someone with dry skin. My skin type is sensitive/normal and it hasn’t dried out my skin.
